Crossfit Total
Back squat, 1 rep
Shoulder Press, 1 rep
Deadlift, 1 rep
These are your one-rep maxes, guys-- e.g. you're trying for the heaviest back squat, shoulder press, and deadlift that you can possible do. As I always say, you'll probably wind up doing more than one rep, especially if you have low self-esteem (because you'll underestimate yourself). If you've done CFT before, try starting with you previous max (after you've warmed up, obviously).
BUY YOUR SPECTATOR SLOTS if you haven't yet. Seriously- they swear up and down and sideways that registration will close for good on 3/15. Go to www.socacrossfitgamesqualifier.com.
And, here is the Group Jimmy shredder- hopefully with audio by the time you guys see it. I really hate that audioswap thing on youtube...

Big thanks to Jon for letting me borrow some shoes and socks... not sure what I was thinking when I showed up to the gym in sandals. I still blame my state of confusion this week on daylight savings time.

Actually Matt, you don't realize how forward-thinking you are. There is a whole school of thought about the benefits of lifting bare foot (and a lot of Crossfitters subscribe to it). I myself have lifted in socks only before, but it felt like a very strange thing to do. In theory sneakers don't offer a stable, grounding platform (b/c they're squishy). Now if you had shown up to do Murph barefoot, we might start to wonder about you...
