I love Murph. Don't get me wrong: I loves the ladies - you can give me some Fran, Helen, a little Angie and a whole lot of Kimmie (and who doesn't love Kimmie?), but Murph is my road dog. Looks impossible, but he brings you in for the finish every time!

I'm pretty sure I screwed up and did an extra block of squats (25), pullups (15) and pushups (33). I don't care: it's not like Murph is going to, say, rip up my palms or anything for doing extra. (That's funny: I don't remember using red paint this morning. Is that tomato juice? Hmmm ....)

WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! Steven: did you use the 1st group timer for my Murph time or the 2d group? Remember, I started with Elena, and I know that I started my final mile before she was done. Also, Christina was about 1.5 laps ahead of me (appx. 5 minutes) when 2d group started, she finished about 1.5 laps ahead of me (and there's no way I spent 10 minutes running 800m) and Aaron (3d group) started about 5 minutes behind 2d group. The math suggests that I was robbed by about 5 minutes. I knew my time had to be faster than 54 min.! So I didn't do an extra block after all (because that was the only thing that would make sense of the slower time otherwise).

I felt I was sailing through this WOD, and I felt faster, doing big blocks quickly, snapping out the squats (instead of plodding them) and running the entire final mile (which is where I usually lose time by "not running"). Sooooo ... I think somebody owes me about 5 minutes on that time. >:-(

(What would this blog be if I didn't raise these all important issues everyday???)

HA! I knew it! Well, having contemplated the existence of possible nay-sayers, I lugged my Xfit a$$ back to the 7pm session to prove my hypothesis: that fish were rotten in Denmark this morning, or shooting barrels in a kettle of monkeys ... whatever it is they say. (Although I have no doubt that it was a completely honest error.)

Unlike this morning, I struggled a bit with the exercises, and again I ran the whole time during the miles. What did I get? 50:17! Ain't no way I did TWO Murphs in one day and beat my first time by no fo' minutes! Gimme my #*@@amned 5 min.! (Um ... because I can trade it for valuable prizes??? Yeah ...)

But don't be thinkin' y'all can get two WODs a day by jackin' me on time in the morning: a brutha sho 'nuff gots ta be CRAZY to do that!

7pm group is so good we each did Murph 2x... and at the exact same pace for the second round.

So Mustafa, that makes 3 Murphs for you.

"But don't be thinkin' y'all can get two WODs a day by jackin' me on time in the morning"

Umm, yeah... pretty sure Steven did just that, and it was brilliant on his part. Must be trying to push you harder for the qualifier.
