3 rounds of 5 stations, 1 minute of work at each station with a 1 minute rest at the end of each round. Stations are as follows; Wall ball, sumo-deadlift-high-pull, box jump, push press, row. It's like a... FIGHT GONE BAD! Everyone should come on out and enjoy this wonderfully horrible workout for a great cause. For the 5th time in recent blog history- it is being held at our Cherry location at 10am, hope to see you all there!

"GREAT JOB!" to everyone who "fought gone bad" (?) today!

Just in case you haven't donated, here's a link: remember that even your $5 donation is a generous gesture that veterans and cancer warriors greatly appreciate! Please donate by midnight tonoght so that it counts toward Crossfit360's total fundraising effort.

Soooooo, since nobody else is talking ... I had a hard time sleeping the night before FGBIV. All night I configured how I could attack the WOD, because I knew that there were thousands of others who would be doing the same thing on the same day. I wasn’t making any money, but I was raising money, for people who can use it. Could I average 20 reps per station? 25? Go Matt on it and get 405?

When I was in the USMC, we were not at war. But I came to meet and know a lot of veterans who had been there; and I meet the soldiers from the present conflicts almost daily. What motivated me this day was their situation.

My Sumo Deadlift High Pulls and boxjumps, and Push Presses, and Rows and Wallballs do nothing per se to end world conflicts or heal a wounded soldier. But this day, I could make them count for something. Crossfit360 raised $300 toward the cause, and that’s $300 more than nothing. Julie, Matt, Dr. Jenn/Alan and I were the names for the effort, but Crossfit360 is the face. Times are tough, so there is great pride in the fact that we could manage a few dollars here and there -- in this economy -- to add to the pot, and I thank you.

Fight Gone Bad is a WOD. Once a year it becomes a purpose. Thank you Alan and Dr. Jenn for guiding us to purpose, again.

I don't know what happened to the scores, but in case anyone was interested, here's a partial list from memory:

Highest Fundraiser: Mustafa ($150)
2d Highest fundraiser: Dr. Jenn, Julie, Matt (each with $50)
Highest FGB score, Men: Ben - 310
Highest FGB score, Women: Sarah - 2?? [253?]

That's where my memory begins to fade. Other participants:

Somebody help me out here and post the scores you remember. Crossfit Culver City was the highest affiliate fundraiser this year with over $51,000 (but they also appeare to have teamed up with some other localal affiliates).

Next year, we surprise everybody!

Moose, it was about time you started posting profusely again... I thought maybe you went soft on us. And sweet profile pic, btw...

First off, congrats Jenn & Alan! Can't wait to meet the little tike!

Sadly I was away from CF360 for Fight Gone Bad, but I was able to sneak it in before singing at a wedding. I went to The Athlete Lab in Little Canada, MN. It's a new CrossFit affiliate that hosted other affiliates and solo crossfitters for the day in exchange for a $20 donation to FGB. I thought that was a cool way to do it. There was a good turn-out and I got to meet a bunch of great folks. And we enjoyed some meat and fruit (paleo-style) after all of the heats were over. I was bummed that I didn't beat my previous score, but I think that PR was kind of a fluke anyway =P

.matt.
