WOD November 11, 2008 & Notice of Public Auction


Look out guys- another workout, courtesy of Freddie C. at One World...
10 rounds for time:
30 seconds max reps wall ball
30 seconds max reps box jump
1 minute rest
During your one minute rest, your coach will collect your numbers.
89 pushups- onward and upward.
Also, I'd like to announce the public auction of Kirk's FGB T-shirt, never worn, size XL. Shall we start the bidding at $20? C'mon folks, this is a limited edition shirt, one of only 7 at Crossfit360. Seriously Kirk, where are you man? Better pick up that shirt soon- people are eyeballing it.

Wow, I just read that article Kim recommended and all I can say is WOW F**ken WOW!!! I’ve been doing CrossFit for the past 3 months and I never knew I was part of a Taliban training program called “CultFit.” Considering that I’m in the best cardio and core strength I’ve ever been in, I guess I gotta tell mom that I found a new religion. Nevertheless, I’m thinking I might earn “Pukey the Clown” today….See you there! –The Ray

Dr. J, I will be in some time this week to pickup my shirt so please hold off on the auction for a few days. I have to tell ya, the wife is getting ready to pop any day now so my workout routine has and will be temporarily thrown into chaos-by-daughter. I wanted to name her Fran, but the Mrs. wouldn't go for it.

We will have another CF360 member in a few years, but we might have to get a shorter pullup ball. I want her to learn how to beat up boys too!

haha super man of tustin, I think that during that group Fran I did the LEAST. My team kicked ass and thats why we got severed our ice cold beer.

My calves are not happy after that workout. Too many box jumps, man. But the rest of me had a great time w/ that group of hard workers!

Kirk - maybe name her "Kelly"??

Congratulations Kirk! Dr. Jenn: I am officially withdrawing my bid of $12,428.27 for Kirk's shirt.

This WOD is DOABLE. I saw some sweaty, breathless folk when I got there, so I was leaning toward taking a nap and returning at 7. Noticing my nonchalant mosey toward the exit, Steven blocked the door (rats!).

Confirmed that Kim has lovely, supple hands (Jason H.!) >:-(, then did the WOD. I managed 16 wallball/13 box jump avg. for 10 rnds -- and, oddly, I felt really vibrant and refreshed when I got done! (Victoria tells me I could have gotten the same feeling by using L'oreal Vive Pro Nutri Gloss Shampoo).

I have to say, however, that regular XFit and the amount of squats I have done in the past 5 months have gotten my hips liquid: deep squats are sooo much easier now, which has also improved some of my Krav movements. Thanks Steven! Thanks Dr. Jenn! Thanks XFit!

Hey! Where are the stats people? I had the worst time yesterday :X and I wanted to see just how bad it was today! HA!

Liquid hips....interesting. I have both positive and negative ideas about this phrase.

My word verification is "mindessi" which I hear in my head as Mind - essey (like Odyssey)! Woo! What a sophisticated word. Just for fun, I'm going to take a mindessi tonight and see what happens. Hopefully my travels bring me somewhere nice and there aren't any scary harpies or sirens to eat my bloody bones...

On THAT note, I think I'm going to stop writing, although this is my first crossfit comment. Woo!

Wow! Impressive numbers all around!!! This shows that XFit is paying off in real fitness dividends.

Did anyone else notice the odd number? As in the one stat that sort of suggests that Kim has turbo assisted legs? TWENTY-SIX box jump avg.?!?!?!! WICKED!!!! Judging from the big BxJmp #'s put up by "The Ray" and Tanyi, Kim's Energizer effort was inspiring.

True word verif.: "while" What the heck can I do with that?
