WOD November 12, 2008

4 x 40
4 rounds for time:
10 pushups
10 situps
10 supermans
10 hollow rocks
90 pushups! 10 days til the finish. What do you guys want to do next? Burpees?
As some of you know, Jason has been away visiting family in friends in Arizona. Ever the slacker, he decided to climb the highest peak in Arizona, Humphrey's Peak. Knowing how Jason is a couch potato at heart, I asked him to take a pic as proof. Here it is!

Who needs coffee when you've got Crossfit at 5:30.Right Jim? Welcome back Jason!

WARNING TO SD MUD RUNNERS: Beware of doing too much leg-intensive work prior to the run on Sunday that might give you counter-productive pre-race muscle soreness. I faced some pretty stiff interrogation by my quads this morning about an alleged 132 box jumps someone said I did yesterday (Steven!).

Don't worry: I was cool; I dint tell 'em nuttin!

90 done. Welcome back J.A.!

OMG! Talk about pre-race stiffness: the word verif. for this post -- which popped up right after I posted the last one -- is (true story!) "cialis."

5:30 Crossfit appears to be the cure for insomnia. Couldn't sleep last night, went to Crossfit, passed out on the couch on the way to my room. So not to crap on your point there, Victoria, but it seems to be the antithesis to coffee for me.

Word verification: Winge - what I do when Alan wants to use me to demonstrate strikes to the groin.

Duh! I feel like a clown now: Danny had it totally right! This is such a do-at-home WOD! You don't even have to gerry-rig anything!

It's the obvious stuff I miss. I feel even sillier because I was powering through a project all day so I could make 5pm Krav and go in for 6pm XFit and do this quick WOD. Ah ... HELLO?! I got to Krav with six minutes to spare and did the WOD right before class. 3:37 -- and I've got about 12 witnesses to prove it!

Alan's groin-striking demos? I whinge, whiff, and whimper (later) ... in that order.

90 pushups done and then some. I took Stephen's bag class tonight and we did a few pushups. Not to mention the 1000 punches with a partner. That's right, 1000. Super fun!

Where was everyone tonite???
At least one person came in.
Don't worry though, I won't cry. I'll just think of some good ol' fashion crossfit torture for everyone, haha!

Oh yeah, 90 pushups done. I usually wouldn't mention two word verifications in one day, but the one I'm staring at right now is, no lie, "buffer." Felt that deserved a mention.

Muahahaha, Mustafa!!!!!! Mike and I kicked your butt! (Him more than me)- he did today's WOD in 3:26 and I did it in 3:31.
We were so surprised that we did it so quickly that we thought we must have done it wrong. Seriously.

90 down...plus a few extra. Couldn't make it to class tonight....lousy job keeps getting in the way. But I did do the PT Pyramid workout on military.com.
