"Fractured Fran"
21 Thrusters (95#M; 65#W)
21 Pullups
Rest 3-5 min
15 Thrusters
15 Pullups
Rest 3-5 min
9 Thrusters
9 Pullups
Rest? What? Yes. The idea behind Fractured Fran is that when you total up the times for your 21-15-9 (minus the rest), that's an idea of what your Fran time could be (all things like your diet held equal). Of course, your Fran time could always be improved by good diet, regular training, etc.
I hereby pronounce Mondays for the next few weeks to be Frandays. We'll be doing all the different versions of Fran, including maybe In-N-Out Fran at one of the night classes.
To all of you NEWBIES: The Saturday 10 am class on January 24 will be a Lifting Seminar, during which you will review the 9 basic lifts of Crossfit. Please do your darndest to be there.
And, don't forget-- January 14th at 7 pm is the information & orientation for the Matrix!
"What are you waiting for? You're faster than this. Don't think you are, know you are. Come on. Stop trying to hit me and hit me. "

I am seeing some GOOD Fran times here, people. REALLY GOOD. You all better be planning on the Matrix! ;)

Fractured Fran was cool, but it totally exposed my mid-way sandbags. I was a rocket during the round of 21 and the round of 9. Homer Simpson apparently did my round of 15 (too distracted by the weights because they looked like licorice donuts ... "mmmm ... licorice donuts ..."). Dr. Jenn provided very enlightening information on that phenomenon ("Thank you!"). Oh well, I'll have plenty of time to reprogram during the Matrix ("I know kung fu.")

Oops! Some of the math/time conversion didn't translate (I know I added mine wrong twice), and I'm certain you guys want accurate times so you can compare for next time:

5:30am
Dave-2 (4:48)M you gained time! :-)
Ben (5:50)

11am
Jason H (4:38)
Andrea M (4:26)
Ray-2 (4:32)

at 6pm, Mike didn't trust our math or his, so he left those up to the rest of us to add. ;-) (It's not my fault: at law school they trained us to look for anomalies. I can't help it!)
