For time:
10 pullups
2 box jumps
8 pullups
4 box jumps
6 pullups
6 box jumps
4 pullups
8 box jumps
2 pullups
10 box jumps
And yes, the pullup ratio is in effect! :)
5050: 36-36-36
It's too daggone late to wax poetic... I'll leave you with this pic of Andy, doing his 5050's in the Flatiron Mountains of Colorado!

quick question on Grace Challenge: Do the clean and jerk have to be two separate, distinct movements ('09 SoCal qualifier style), or can it be more like a combined clean into a thruster ('08 games style)?

Hmm. Good question, nerd. Oops, I mean, Matt. ;) Let me check on what the exact standards are for Grace- I think it has to be 2 separate moves, but I'll let you know it a bit.

Very inspirational quote, Paul D. I like it!

Hi Paul-
Yes I believe there are still some down there. Mike will be teaching tonight.

PS- the word on the street (and on the web) is that Grace rx'd is 2 distinct movements- none of that thruster bs Matt was trying to get away with. Very sneaky, those pararescue guys...

36's done wendy

ha, actually that's good news for those of us with less pure pressing power... after a few reps I'll NEED to use the jerk.

In other news...
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HATE RUNNING (and want to change that): that used to include me until I ran with a running team last summer. They meet every Saturday at 7am, and the coaches teach the ChiRunning technique (similar in many ways to POSE method espoused by many crossfitters). Very efficent way to run, and made a HUGE difference for me. Program lasts 21 weeks, is $150 (includes ChiRunning book, t-shirt, other goodies) and starts THIS SATURDAY... I highly recommend it (not to mention we could expose all the other runners to Crossfit ;)

sorry for the lengthy post Jenn... sick of hearing people complain about running WODs :P
.Matt.
