Did 44 because I was up anyway, even though I'm doing FGB later on.

There's this crazy thing about CrossFit: when you're doing the WODs sometimes, they really suck, and your body is saying "THAT'S IT MAN! YOU'RE A $%&*ING A-HOLE FOR PUTTING ME THROUGH THIS! WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME MAN! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" but your mind is over at Starbucks getting a grande latte ("nonfat milk please") -- that's if you've gotten to the self-psych out stage -- returning right after the WOD is over ("What did I miss? Hey dude: why is our body so angry at you?" [notice the distinct denial of accountability]). But when you catch your breath, at least when I catch mine, I find myself thinking "OK, what's next?" (Mind you, it has never led me to do the WOD again immediately thereafter, but I'm just saying ...)

So how bad did the fight go? I don't want to spoil anything before Dr. J does the honors, but let me say that IT WAS BRUTAL!!!! I started my first exercise at a really good clip and realized by my third exercise why they call it Fight Gone Bad (which I think should be "Fight Gone Mad," which is more appropriate).

We got lucky and did one-minute rounds at each of the 5 stations, with a one-minute rest between the three total circuits, partner keeps count (the regular FGB is 5 circuits). I got Jason A. as a partner, which I guarantee accounted for at least 30 additional reps he pushed me through: I felt hypnotized ("come on, Moose; pick it up, Moose; get under the bar, Moose; keep movin', Moose; pay me a hundred dollars, Moose ...")

I am super proud of everyone who came out (Kim, Kurt, Roger, Luis, Angie, Jason A., Chuckie, [me], Dr. J., Steven, Robert, Alan, Lil Stephanie, and I think I'm missing some people too [*sorry*]). THE LADIES PUT UP SOME IMPRESSIVE NUMBERS!!!!!

But the biggest debt of gratitude and thanks goes out to THAT PERSON who not only murdered FGB but also raised the highest donations by a single person: [to be announced by Dr. J.]!!!! AWESOME JOB!!!!! You already had my respect and admiration, so I guess I'll just have to give you [SPOILER ALERT!!!!!] ...

... $100? (Hmm...why do feel so strangely compelled?)

GREAT JOB EVERYBODY!!!

Definitely a fun day to be a 360 CrossFit-er, and by fun I mean it's awesome to be part of the sweaty, filthy, dizzy, nauseous and proud crew that not only showed up for FGB III but kicked a little a$$ as well.

Props to Jason, Kim, and the mighty Moose...well done!

Looking forward to another 17 minutes of pain and s'more of that sweet recovery elixir, AKA heaven in a bottle, AKA Guinness.

3-2-1...Cheers!

"Um ... check me if I'm wrong, Sandy, but isn't it murder if I kill all the golfers?"

"I said 'gophers,' you nit wit!"

(Extra credit if you know where that's from.)

Just for the record, and not that I know other than from what appears to be obvious: Jason is male, so actually, HE had the highest male total :-I

I was just the next highest male who didn't raise as much money (or kick the most living crap out of FGB III!). But thanks, Dr. J for affirming my manliness; you're a sweetheart! :-D

Big congratulations to everyone again (and sorry for not mentioning dazzling Deeana and victorious Vanessa before: I was still dizzy from the work out)!

("Barrister M". Hmmm ... just as long as people don't start calling me BM for short.) ;-)

It was great to see everybody at FGB today. You are guys were great.
I also want to mention Jimmy who stopped by for support, and that is still recovering after shoulder surgery. I know he would have rather trained today.... after all he was our first 360 CrossFittter to perform a muscle up....
