Rest


Ironically, you should rest on Labor Day, which was created to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of the American worker. Perhaps we should institute Crossfit Day, which we would create to celebrate the fitness-related accomplishments and contributions of sweat, tears, and torn muscle fiber of the American Crossfitter. As today is the first official Crossfit Day, you should all rest and eat anti-Zone food, such as ice cream, pizza, and cupcakes. Hey, it's all about balance. Plus, kudos to you if you were at the workout on Saturday and despite extreme soreness you can successfully get a cupcake into your mouth!
18 pushups today.

did my 18. the good news is i'm only sore from my knees to my shoulder's and that's an improvment. now i'm going to go do what that dog is doing.

I'm with Erik, resting sucks!!! I went to the gym today, couldn't help myself, worked out without much sense of direction but i did break a sweat. Afterwards headed to the track at csulb and ran 4x400m with a minute rest between each lap.
1st lap- 1:18
2nd lap- 1:25
3rd lap- 1:26
4th lap- 1:27

Thanks to one of your dedicated crossfit members, I was let in on the bad idea of 100 days of push ups.

1-80: my arms hurt.
81-100: I hate the person who told me of this craziness.
101-125: I forgot who I was hating.
126-153: I forgot who I am or why I'm doing these god awful things.

153 yesterday and 18 later when I get a sec. Okay, back to work on this day of rest. Thanks dedicated crossfit member :)

Allegedly I just did 18 push ups. Jason doesn't believe me but I have a very reliable witness . . .Robert. He wouldn't lie. He did his too, with me sitting on his back. Allegedly.

Did my 18. Somehow my mom (that would be Angie to all you crossfitters) convinced me to run 6 miles with her. The things we do for family ;-)

Nice job making up the pushups Peter! And actually, the picture is of Shelby (not Tali, Lil S), one of our doggies. She definitely believes in rest, and has absolutely no shame about napping in the sunshine.

I got confused on these blogs...but i did my 16 on saturday, 17 on sunday, and 18 on monday.
