I'd like to point out that virtual shoveling was significantly more difficult than actual shoveling. This I was not prepared for. Virtual tennis on my wii is much easier than actual tennis . . .

40 done.

VIRTUAL EARTHMOVERS!

If you are doing this with prescribed weight, and you are touching the weight to the ground on both ends of the movement (like you are supposed to!), you are virtually shoveling over 4.725 TONS OF WEIGHT (or 2.625 tons for the ladies)!

[Calculated at 45/25 lbs. (but actually more, since the bar adds weight) shifted twice per shoveling, which equals 9,450 lbs. of prescription for the boys, 5250 lbs. for the girls!]

I did my 40 this morning, then I went in to virtual shoveling, having somehow missed the part in the description about pushups.

Steven reminded me. So that's a total of 195 pushups today. Why do I sense more coming on in Krav tonight?

LOL you guys. I remember snow shoveling as a very difficult endeavor. Perhaps that's because I was 8. There was a capitalist system in my family- my youngest uncle would pay me $5 of the $10 that he earned for shoveling the driveway after a snowstorm. While he sat inside watching TV, I thought it was well worth $5 to spend the entire morning outside shoveling. LOL I guess I wasn't the brightest kid...fortunately I ate a lot of Wheaties so my brain eventually caught up to the point where it was functioning above cretin-level.

Didn't that other $5 go to cover overhead, health care benefits, 401k contributions, FICA, Social Security deductions, and State Disability Insurance tax?

(I sure wish we could edit these posts, then I wouldn't have to post self-effacing corrections. Only 145 pushups today [unless I'm sensing there will be 40 more in Krav]. Oh, and 5,250 was missing a comma.)

I did my 40 pushups at home. Went to level 2 and did a butt load there. Then the 105 in today's virtual b.s. workout. I would say I've had it up to here with pushups, but I can't raise my arm that high!
