Hey- I know how to get people to come on Saturday. I shall make a rule that anyone who does not workout on Saturday at FGB will be forced to do "Fraph" on Monday. "Fraph" = Fran followed by Murph.

Great idea Jenn...
Have you heard of the Fraph G. Kelly gone bad?
Fran-Murph-Grace-Kelly...3 rounds for time! Muahahaha!!!

I think we should go ahead and make it 2poods instead of this 1.5 nonsense.

And as for Jason... if you mention "Fraph G. Kelly" again I will not be held responsible for my actions.

Check this out people. Another reason to sign up for FGB and support The Wounded Warrior Project. I just found this last night.

I have no idea what "2poods" means, but it doesn't sound good. Which is why we need to do it (slap me when you see me).

I'm gearing up for Fight Gone Bad, so I can't be concerned with what "2poods" means, too much, but I am champing at the bit to find out.

Erik, bring Allison and Natalie to FGB: I need some true athletes (including YOU) to push me further!

I have a feeling that Marissa is going to blow up the place with fantastic reps. EVERYONE needs to come out for FGB! If you didn't make your own page, sponsor someone else. 360 CrossFit must represent!!!! I have a modest goal of $1,000.00. If I can hustle my former boss for money, and my ex-wife, there is NO REASON you can't give a similar effort. If I don't make my goal, I will pay the difference: that's how much I believe in Wounded Warriors and the PC foundation!

Put your money where my mouth is! (gobble gobble) FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB! FGB!

Hey guys- here's the definition of a pood: Russian measure used for kettlebells; common ones: 1 pood =36 lbs; 1.5 pood = 54 lbs; 2 pood = 72 lbs. Approx db equivalents are 35, 55, 70.
And hey- you don't have to be Olympic athletes (literally!-or practically, in the case of Erik and his Fran time :)) to push each other, Mustafa! I love your enthusiasm for fundraising.
Tustonians, what's up? Are you all lightweights, or what? Where's your presence on this board and in FGB? I only know of two people who committed officially- Huw and Vanessa! Way to go guys- at least everyone in the OC isn't a pansy...

So I did a little investigating--turns out el creepo in the car watching everybody run was one of the Tustinians disguised and spying on the competition for FGB III.

I myself have been in seclusion, training in the Siberian peninsula all week gearing up for the big event on Saturday. I'm down to my fighting weight of a lean and mean 5.5 pood. See you guys Saturday!

Kirk and Jason LOL. I'll be working the desk tonight in Tustin and be sure to counter Creepy Guy's spying with a little hidden video camera work.
Pood is an extremely funny word- is anyone else with me on this? It kind of sounds like a derogatory term, as in "That guy is such a pood!"

good job kirk for your undercover work, and busting that creepy guy from tustin.no long beach crossfiters are going to tustin and spying and eating del taco...or our we.o.c we never know.and i think poods sounds like something you say about a girl. like her big poods move a lot when she is dancing to cherry pie.

From wikipedia.
"Pood (Russian: пуд, pud), is a unit of mass equal to 40 funt (фунт, Russian pound). It is approximately 16.38 kilograms (36.11 pounds). It was used in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

Together with other units of weight of the Imperial Russian weight measurement system, pood was abolished in the USSR in 1924.
Its usage is preserved in modern Russian in certain specific cases, e.g., in reference to sports weights, such as traditional Russian kettlebells, cast in multiples and fractions of 16 kg (which is pood rounded to metric units). For example, a 24-kg kettlebell is commonly referred to as "one-and-half pood kettlebell" (polutorapudovaya girya). It is also sometimes used when reporting the amounts of bulk agricultural production, such as grains or potatoes.
An old Russian proverb reads, 'You never know a man until you have eaten a pood of salt with him.'"

Russians eat salt by the pood. That's hardcore . . .
